Quite honestly... I miss the community of the boards (I haven't been them much lately...)  

As far as dissention... we are brothers and sisters in Christ- everyone should feel welcome.  If things aren't looking that way... maybe we should work on it.

I do think some tension is normal. We are a diverse group of people with a diverse group of beliefs. Plus, it's just easier to misunderstand the nature of someone's comment online as opposed to face-to-face communication. With that in mind though, we should work harder at supporting each other. The WEAM giveaway is sure to bring some new faces here. It's important everyone feel welcome here.

You bring up some very good points, Lori.

We need to be careful to remember that the downhere boards are not a clic- in many ways, we're like a church "family".  The album will hopefully bring a lot of new people in, so we should make them feel welcome as downhere's ministry is shared with them- and inherantly, Christ.

I got the "site upgrade in progress" message all day yesterday whenever I tried to get on the boards. I half expected to see a new look today!
