Marc does Keith Green
Oldiesmann:
Stumbled across these videos on Marc's personal channel a couple nights ago and quickly favorited them. I've been a fan of Keith Green for years (likely because my mom loves his music), and it's great to see Marc doing some of his songs. For those who aren't familiar with Keith Green, he was a very influential Christian singer and songwriter from the early 1970s until his untimely death in a plane crash in 1982. He gave us some great songs such as "Oh Lord, You're Beautiful" and "There Is A Redeemer". Wikipedia has more info.
"Asleep In The Light"
"So You Wanna Go Back To Egypt" (note: the manna jokes are part of the original song)

Thanks Michael! Glenn also twittered these links a couple months ago. I loved "So you wanna go back to Egypt" growing up, so it was fun to hear Marc's cover!
ExtravagantlyLoved:
I found out this weekend that Marc recorded these for someone close to Keith...some family member, I think, because they're talking about making a movie. So he recorded them and put them up on YouTube for this person, and then forgot about them. Then people started finding them and talking about them.
Lakie:
You'd think whoever is making a movie would have found their man to play Keith Green! I loved the Egypt album too growing up - I remember just thinking that this is what Christian music should be - happy, hilarious and very convicting. Keith Green managed to be all those things. Marc is certainly his protege - plus he sounds just like him - only superbly more so!
impressme:
It really is undeniable the talent that Marc is. Not only an amazing voice of his own, but does equally an amazing job covering others. The best I've heard from Marc so far would be Freddy Mercury, Keith Green, and ... George Michael. Yes George Michael. Glenn played for me a number of years ago a home recording that Marc did of him performing George Michael's "One More Try". Shockingly good, and very hard for the average listener to distinguish between their voices!
