adding pictures

i know a few people here have put pictures in the message box thing to show pics to everyone.....how do i do that?

First off the picture has to be on the internet not just on your computer.  I use Photobucket.  Do you have a site you use to do that?If not, I recommend a Friends Only Photobucket account.  FB uses the pics off your C drive, but this forum software only reads online links.  Once you have a url for your pic, you use the second icon in the line above the emoticons - it's the one under the I for italics (if you can squint you will see it is a little Mona Lisa) and it will put in your post a command and you insert the url in between the first and the second bracket.

For instance, if you quote this post from me, it will show you the format this picture had to be in in order to show up here.
                                 

I only know to do this because someone on another forum that uses this same software showed me how. Happy picture posting!

I prefer using flickr.com for my photos (nicer interface, more features), so you might want to check that one out as well.
