I met pretty much a lot of the regulars last July which was totally awesome. I'm going to meet two downhomies when I go to Downhere's concert in Jourdanton next Sunday. Even though I have autism, I felt welcome by those I met in July. My communication skills aren't exactly perfect, but I make up for it with being a nerd and a totally awesome trumpet player.

Phillip, I love that you and your dad joined us at the Palooza!  So cool to hang out with fellow tech and music nerds :)

You belong here, everyone's invited
You can’t fail here, 'cause we can't fail united
It's safe to be yourself here
And it's time to go beyond here

Oh, I know it's gonna be a hard day
And you won't come out of this the same, no
But my love will be your strength for tonight

Hey Phillip, Is there going to be another Downhomie in Jourdanton besides you & me? Who is it?

Do other bands have a forum like this? I just love how we have a place to ooh and ahh over the guys and interact with other fans.

Hehe I kinda feel like we're under their protective wing or something

Yeah I know I'm  :idiot2:

Some artists have forums, others don't. It just depends on each artist's and/or label's preferences I guess. I generally don't post on too many artists' forums besides this one and Jason Gray's, though I'm also a member of Disciple's board and probably the boards of assorted other artists as well (I don't keep up with how many boards I'm on :P)

Ahh, I see. This is the only forum I've been on. I like how it feels like family :) It does to me anyway...

I used to be a part of Third Day's message boards but I like this one better.  I have felt accepted here not like on the other boards.  I have received a lot of encouragement from some of the people on here.  Plus I got to spend time with some of you and I loved every minute of it.  I also spent time with Third Day five years ago in Nashville, the fans aren't as awesome as the ones I met in July at the Palooza.  Thank you to all who made me feel welcome, I still remember our time together.  Plus the guys from Downhere are awesome, they made me feel very welcome, I found it easier to talk with them than I have any other group who I have met.

I feel like this is the greatest place to be. Everyone is so supportive here. And these four guys are absolutely the BEST! I am so happy to have met a lot of you and hope to meet more when we can all gather again. :)
