so this nanny job is not working out.... the boss has broken the contract by not paying what she stated she would because the kids parents shorted her on the check (again) so instead of getting paid for the full amount of time that i watched these kids i only got paid for half of the time, the boss lady says that she will reemberse me IF the parent rewite the check next time.the boss has stated to me that the parents often write bad checks that bounce, and the kids are aboulute monsters (locking their bedroom doors climbing out the windows, hitting each other, hitting me and leaving bruise on me, saying their going to get a knife and "slice my thout", ect)...this boss also on the day she hired me asked me to tell parents (my 1st clients/ parents i watched kids for that 1 time) that i had been with the company for a few months (even though she hired me 2 hours before this job)...so now with this not paying me what she said she was going to pay me i need to decide weather or not to just suk it up for next month or to just go ahead and turn in my resignation..pray for some guidance for me, thanks y'all

Sounds like a bunch of shady characters! Doesn't seem worth your time especially if you're not being paid for all of it. Sounds like you're being abused on several different levels. How old are those kids?!

I think I would resign the job.  They have not been upfront with you and they were asking you to lie.  I would not stay.
