I thought they played a bit too fast IMO, and I'm not talking about the reworked part where Brian May and Roger Taylor came out. Maybe thats what Idol wanted them to do tho, who knows. Marc seemed a bit nervous too, I thought he missed a few notes. To be honest, seeing Downhere do "Somebody to Love" live was jaw droppingly good and much better than the QE versions I've seen so far. This one was OK, but Marc needs to relax a bit...and maybe the band needs some time to come together, they probably haven't played much together yet...Here is the rehearsal video of the same performance from a couple of days ago...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlLEdSmKxAY
To be fair, knowing that 15million people are watching you is bound to make you nervous. I think Marc did well, inspite of the nervousness.
