that's sad and lovely to hear that Ray was a beautiful cornet player. . I bet you miss him, eh, hon?   don't you love the tone of the cornet?   I also love the tone of the Flugal horn. . my husband, Rob used to play flugal. .  (not sure how to spell that!) ever heard a soprano cornet?!  I used to get a kick outta watching the player's faces turn beet red!!!

Sarah. . you are so dear. I wish that we could meet!

How uncreative is that?
What fun is it to name your
child Johnson Johnson?
or Bernard Bernard.
or Stuart Stewart.
or Beatrice Beatrice.
or Helga Helga.
or Patrick Patrick.
Or Butch Butch.
or Chakaluka Chakaluka. [yes. that's a real name.]

anyway. i could go on for hours.
i once heard this man on the radio...
and his name was Chick Chickerson.

Number one... why would you name your SON ... CHICK!? of all names?! CHICK?!!!!!
Chick Chickerson. the worst name of all time!
hahahaha.

One guy I worked with at a gas station turned to me once and said "what's your last name Germain?"... I said "Germain"...he said "Your name is Germain Germain?!" I said "No everybody calls me Germain, but my last name is Germain"  he said "Oh....so what's your last name?"  I laughed and explained my first name was Jason.  I wonder if he still works there...

Germain Germain.

I've never had confusion like that before.
But I'm lucky if someone remembers my name whatsoever!!!!
I think people imagine my name is really more complicated than it looks or something!!!
