I usually don't buy cd's I just use itunes, but in july I heard A Better Way on the radio and knew I just had to buy the CD, When Idid I was moved by all the songs and I really think God used Downhere's music to reach me when I was at my lowest point....  See I had just found out that my husband of 6 years was still being unfaithful to me, I say still, because it was a problem we had been working through the entire 6 years. Unfortunatly he would say he would change, but never did, and in june stated that he couldn't be faithful because he had never loved me.
What an aweful feeling, I decided to get a divorce and immediatly was shunned by some of my former church friends, although my pastor and church elders supported me. I was so discouraged, I knew that God  loves me but it was hard ot to get discouraged in the face of people telling me that my sin could not be forgiven while my husbands could. I heard the music on Downhere's cd and it felt like God was speaking directly to me, especially Forgive yourself and I will follow your voice. I still hate divorce, but I know that God has a plan for me... Whatever it is I will trust in Him.
Thank you Downhere, God is using you for his Glory ! Keep it up:smile:

That kind of betrayal is painful. Sometimes people don't know how to love.  I am so thankful that you have found downhere and they have been such an awesome blessing to you.  I get so angry at the shunners, for Jesus & His Father never shun.  Welcome to our board family!!!

Thank you for your supportive words. It has been a painful time in my life but the Lord has been with me and I really have grown in Him. The thing is I had praying that I would have children for several years, It wasn't until after my marrige was ending that I started to find out things about my husband that would have made me NEVER want to have children with him! (Scary!) And I think the major thing I learned from all this is that God does answer prayers, but he doesn't always say yes, sometimes the answer is "No", or "Not Yet" We just have to trust in Him, that He knows what is right. His timing is perfect!:smile:

Ever since I was little I always felt kind of inadequate but ever since I heard the song little is much I now can  be reminded that god can use any talent and use anyone if we will just believe . Beautiful song
